Dermatology + Aesthetics, a VitalSkin affiliate in Chicago, IL, recently welcomed their newest doctor, Victoria Godinez-Puig, MD, FAAD, FACMS. Along with general dermatology, Dr. Godinez-Puig will bring her expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery to the Dermatology + Aesthetics Bucktown and Dermatology + Aesthetics Oak/Elmwood Park locations in Chicago.

Dr. Godinez-Puig grew up in Mexico City and received her medical degree at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (U.N.A.M.), the oldest university in North America (with its predecessor founded in 1551) and the most prestigious medical school in Mexico. She completed her internship in internal medicine at NorthShore University HealthSystem, a teaching hospital of the University of Chicago, and her dermatology residency at Northwestern University. Dr. Godinez-Puig subsequently completed an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS)-approved fellowship at the University of British Columbia, which included extensive training in Mohs surgery and complex reconstructive procedures. She is double board-certified in dermatology and in micrographic (Mohs) dermatologic surgery. She has practiced both Mohs surgery and general dermatology in the Chicago suburbs for the past four and a half years.

Dermatology + Aesthetics provides world-class medical, surgical and cosmetic skin care. After building an excellent reputation and extensive referrals in Wicker Park and its surrounding communities, the team expanded its number of providers and services, including relocating to a 19,000-square-foot plus facility in the Elston Corridor neighborhood of Chicago. The Dermatology + Aesthetics brand has since expanded to several other locations and partnered with other leading doctors in Chicago.

We’re excited to continue our growth with Dr. Godinez-Puig’s addition. Visit our affiliation and careers pages for more information on joining the VitalSkin family.
