VitalSkin recently continued its expansion in the Chicagoland area, with the affiliations of Aesthetic and Clinical Dermatology Associates (ACDA) in St. Charles, IL and Hinsdale, IL, and Pinski Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, with locations in Chicago, IL and Bourbonnais, IL.
Founded and led by Scott Zahner, MD and Melanie Zahner, MD, ACDA specializes in diagnosing and managing the full range of skin conditions while also offering superior cosmetic treatments. A native of the Chicago western suburbs, Dr. Scott Zahner earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northern Illinois University. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago before completing an internship in internal medicine at the Bexar County Hospital in San Antonio, TX. He rounded out his training with a residency in dermatology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, where he was named chief resident in his final year. Also a native of Chicago’s western suburbs, Dr. Melanie Zahner completed her bachelor’s degree at Loyola University Chicago before earning a Master of Science in biomedical and health sciences at Barry University in Miami, FL. She then graduated with her medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston and remained in the area to finish her internship at Christus St. Joseph’s Hospital. She returned to Chicago to complete her dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital, where she was also named chief resident in her final year.
With a combination of cutting-edge technology and an eye for aesthetic details, Pinski Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery has earned a reputation as one of the top dermatology providers in Chicago for those seeking cosmetic and medical treatments. The two practices were founded and continue to be led by Kevin Pinksi, MD, who attended Northwestern University Medical School and completed his residency training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Pinski has served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Northwestern University and is a member of many professional organizations, including the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery as well as past president of the Noah Worcester National Dermatological Honor Society. He is the author or co-author of numerous articles and book chapters, and has made more than 100 presentations nationally and internationally. Dr. Pinski has been profiled in various publications including Who’s Who in America, Best Doctors in America, Allure, Vogue and Chicago Magazine.
