Dermatology + Aesthetics, a VitalSkin affiliate, will soon welcome Samantha Gordon, MD and Emily Keimig, MD to their state-of-the-art, full-service dermatology practice. Dr. Gordon will join the practice on September 13 and Dr. Keimig will join on October 1.
Samantha Gordon is a board-certified dermatologist. She completed her undergraduate education at Emory University before pursuing her medical education at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She was also a pediatric resident at Massachusetts General Hospital and a dermatology resident at Tufts Medical Center, both in Boston, MA, and completed her pediatric dermatology fellowship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Gordon specializes in general and pediatric dermatology. She’s passionate about treating patients of all ages, from newborns to grandparents, and using her specialized training to provide family-centered care.
Emily Keimig is also a board-certified dermatologist. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan in 1999 and received her master’s degree (2001) and medical degree (2005) from Wayne State University in Detroit. She also completed her internal medicine internship (2006) and dermatology residency (2009) at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. In addition, she was a clinical instructor for both NorthShore University Health System and Northwestern Medical Group’s department of dermatology. Dr. Keimig specializes in general dermatology, addressing various skin concerns. She has a special focus on autoimmune skin disease; non-infectious granulomas including sarcoidosis, granuloma annulare and necrobiosis lipoidica; connective tissue disorders including morphea; and psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
Dermatology + Aesthetics provides world-class medical, surgical and cosmetic skin care. After building an excellent reputation and extensive referrals in Wicker Park and its surrounding communities, the team expanded their number of providers and services, including relocating to a 19,000 square foot plus facility in the Elston Corridor neighborhood of Chicago.
