Recently, Toral Patel, MD and her team at D&A Dermatology in Chicago, IL joined the Dermatology + Aesthetics team. As such, they have changed their name and branding to Dermatology + Aesthetics.

Practicing since 2008, Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in economics, and then received her master’s degree in biotechnology from Northwestern University. She also graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and went on to complete a clinical research fellowship in dermatology and psoriasis at Loyola University, followed by residency training in dermatology at Loyola, where she also served as chief resident. She is currently an associate clinical instructor of medicine in the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University. Dr. Patel is a member of the clinical staff of Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and serves on its Health IT Committee. She is also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Chicago Dermatological Society and the Illinois Medical Society. Dr. Patel’s primary focus is on medical dermatology for adults and children, She has special interests in psoriasis, complex autoimmune and inflammatory skin conditions, women’s dermatology, particularly the effects of hormonal changes on the skin, and issues pertaining to patients with skin of color.
