We recently welcomed our newest doctor to VitalSkin – Ashley Reader, DO. Dr. Reader brings her expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology to the Louisville area, practicing at both Bella Pelle Dermatology in Louisville, KY, and The Dermatology Center in New Albany, IN.
After receiving her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Reader attended the University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Largo Medical Center in Florida, followed by a dermatology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor, where she served as chief resident. After residency, Dr. Reader worked in private practice in Denver, CO for three years. She is excited to now be back in her home state of Kentucky to provide dermatologic care.
Dr. Reader is passionate about medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, and enjoys practicing all three on a daily basis. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, especially taking care of entire families for their skin care needs.
